“I’ll put the money in and take it out when you’re not around” he said with a shrug. Jason’s heart raced slightly as the count down got closer to the end. He didn’t really have a strategy, just move around a lot and shoot everything that he could. He smiled to himself when he heard Allison calling to him. “Come find me” he challenged crouching down behind a small wall. Someone walked by, he quickly aimed and shot, doing the same with the person that followed. Another moment or two passed and he decided to move. He carefully made his way under the bridge, noticing Allison on top he ran to get under it hoping she hadn’t seen him. (Source: jasonhasting) |
Jason made a weird face and stared at her. “You’re so weird, I always knew you were the spawn of Satan.” He teased following behind her and the guy into the room of shields. He snatched the X-Men shield and pulled it on along with the armor. He shook his head at her threat, “You wish” he mouthed back. He impatiently waited for the next game, staring her down until it started. Once the doors opened allowing them onto the course he darted through the obstacles getting as far away from Allison and the other players as he could. (Source: jasonhasting) |
“I don’t get out much…” Jason confessed opening the door for her. “I don’t wanna be superman though!” he whined, “I’m going to be Wolverine.” He mocked his best Hugh Jackman voice as he said it. Jason hated the idea of Allison paying for anything that involved him. Student or not, he was raised that the guy always paid for the girl. He didn’t have time to protest so he quickly shrugged it off. He’d just pay for the groceries. “I’m not going anywhere.” he informed her in a sure tone. He quickly shrugged out of his coat and handed it over to her. (Source: jasonhasting) |
Jason shook his head with a smile strung across his face. She really was something else. “I like the peace and quiet.” He said glancing over at her still smiling. He didn’t say much as he drove, he’d glance over to here every so often. It wasn’t long before they arrived at the local arcade. He looked back over to her once more, “Ready to lose?” he grinned jumping out of the car and heading for the door. (Source: jasonhasting) |
Allison waited while he put the dogs in the garage, checking her phone for texts or voicemails. When he opened the door and let her go first, she stepped outside and walked up to his car, not wanting to go back into the cold. Luckily for her the car doors were automatic and she didn’t have to wait before she could hop inside, though it didn’t help much against the cold. “The dogs will be fine, right?” she paused for a second before she spoke again. “Because I thought, maybe we could play some laser tag before we get the groceries, my treat.” She didn’t want to go outside just to come back and be bored again so she figured if they were going to go outside anyways, might as well do something fun. Jason slid into the drivers seat. He put the key in and turned it over. The car rumbled for a moment before silencing to a low purr. He looked over to her, “Yeah, they should be alright. They can’t get out or anything. There’s food and water too, I think.” He smiled at her. “Are you sure you wanna play me in laser tag? I’m going to whoop your ass.” He grinned. He turned his eyes back to the road. He backed out of the drive and started down the road. “Wanna listen to some music?” (Source: jasonhasting) |
“I guess that works,” she said, watching him as he let the dogs outside. “We could also just walk them when we get back. We won’t be gone for long, unless you’re one of those people that go couponing.” When he stood in front of her she was kind of expecting something but she wasn’t going to let him get away with it that easily. When he was done being a big tease, Allison took a step forward, definitely stepping into his personal space. “Maybe I don’t need to be legal to get what I want,” she said, looking at up him with a smirk before she walked past him and into the living room to get her bag. “Ready to go?” she asked, biting down on her lip. She was too amused right now to hide it. “Walking them isn’t a bad idea, either.” Jason muttered. “No, I’m not a couponer.” He retorted rolling his eyes. He looked down at her slightly confused when she got so close to him. He held his breath as she spoke, feeling oddly unbothered by her nearness. She was teasing him, two could play that game. He snagged his keys and his wallet from the bowl on the pass threw near the kitchen. He opened the back dor and allowed the dogs to scurry in, he lead them out to the garage and turned the knob on the heater so it was on. “Yeah” He finally answered. Jason opened the front door and allowed Allison out before him. He locked the door behind them, clicked the button to unlock his car and followed behind Allison to the driver side. “Maybe you should. Katherine is trying to make guys pop out of cakes without a shirt on I think, so you’ll enjoy it,” she said, trying to withhold a smile. Allison shook her head at his suggestion, it was practically freezing outside. “I’ll pick up the bench at my house later, he never does this but maybe it’s just his way of rebelling against being in another house, for the time being.” She didn’t know why the dog did this but she did know that she wasn’t going to let him out of her sight again, just in case he decided to rip apart some more things. “Your car would be best unless you want to drive around in a piece of junk,” she said as she headed down to the hallway, already putting on her coat and shoes. “So, since it’s ‘just beer’ does that mean I can get some too,” she joked, leaning back against the wall. She didn’t even like beer but just wanted to see his response. Jason stared at her blankly. “Har har” He said mocking her. “Well, if we can’t put him outside could we at least put him in the garage? I have a bed and a heater out there. I put George out there when I leave if it’s too cold outside.” He walked out of the room, down the hall and over to the back door. He opened it an George stalked out, followed by Spidey. “I always let him out before I leave, too.” He said walking back across the living room and slipping his shoes on, then his coat. “We can take my car, no problem.” He shrugged, walking over to stand in front of her. “You can have just about anything you want,” He paused “when you’re legal.” He added with a smirk. “Maybe you should get a Bieber haircut, it makes him look like a toddler so who knows what it might do for you,” she said, scrunching up her nose. Which reminded her of something she had completely forgotten about, again. “Speaking of age, my birthday is next Saturday. I’m pretty sure they’re throwing me a party but you were always too cool for parties.” Allison didn’t even know why she came in here, she just wanted to make fun of his loud sighing, until she saw the beer and had a new topic. “I’m just kind of bored. Maybe you can do some funny dancing for me or read out loud the worst answers on tests so I can make fun of them,” it was like on cue when Spidey returned to Allison with a ripped up pillow. “Or I guess I could buy you a new pillow,” she said as she bend down the grab the ripped one out of Spidey’s mouth with an apologetic look. “And then we can buy tonight’s dinner, too.” Jason furrowed his eyebrows together, “No”. He moved his arm to behind his head, laying his head back slightly to rest on it. “Maybe I could make an exception for you, since it’s your birthday and all…” He gave her a small smile. He continued to listen to her suggestions, shaking his head no at all of them but the last one. “Yeah, about that…” He said glancing down at what used to be a pillow. “Maybe we should keep him outside more or something.” He muttered. He thankfully never had this problem with George. “I guess we could get ready to go. We taking my car or yours?” He asked getting up from the floor. (Source: jasonhasting) |
Allison was quite bored when she got home from school. Though with the lack of her presence there was plenty of homework to get around but she didn’t feel like doing it right now. She had just been laying on the bed, sort of waiting for something to do. And that was when Spidey decided to start gnawing on a pillow and ran away when Allison tried to stop him. With a grunt she got off the bed and followed her dog down the hallway. When she heard a rather odd ‘ahh’ noise coming from the ‘whatever’ room Allison could help but peek her head through the door. “Alcohol during the week?” she said grinning, but then shook her head in a fake disapproving way. “Shouldn’t you be grading papers or do other things old people do.” Jason glanced up from his book when he saw Allison. George sat up and turned his head, too. “It’s a just beer,” he said making a face. “At least I’m legal.” He shot back with a grin. “For God’s sake, what’s with you girls and calling me old? I’m like, 8 years older than you at a max. Some, even less than that.” He shook his head. “What’s up?” He asked dog-earring the page of his book before shutting it and placing it beside him on the floor. (Source: jasonhasting) |

Jason was sprawled out on the floor of his ‘bat cave’. He’d been in there ever since he got home from work. He hadn’t said much to Allison, figuring she wanted her space. Flipping to the next page of his book he let out a sigh. He rolled over on his side and continued to read. George stayed by his side, moving with Jason to rest his head on the curve of his owner’s rib cage. Jason opened the mini-fridge and grabbed a beer out. He grabbed the bottle opener off the top of the fridge and popped it open, taking a long sip before exhaling a pleased ‘ahhhh’. He set the beer down off to the side and returned his attention back to his book. |
